    Jailbreak iOS 5 GM With RedSn0w 0.9.9b2 As we have just reported iOS 5 Golden Master has been seeded to developers but you can download it from HERE. If you are worried about the jailbreak, Don’t be.
    MuscleNerd has just confirmed that Redsn0w 0.9.9b2 can jailbreak iOS 5 GM. Here is the Guide.iOS 5 GM – Jailbreak Supported Devices: iPod touch 3G

    First we will need:


    • Redsn0w 0.9.9b2 for Windows / Mac
    • iOS 5.0 GM for iPhone, iPod, iPad – Download from HERE
    • iOS 5.0 beta 7 for iPhone,iPod, iPad  – Download from HERE
    • iTunes 10.5 beta 9 – Download from HERE
    How To Jailbreak iOS 5 GM with Redsn0w 0.9.9b2:

    Step 1: Restore to iOS 5.0 GM
    Step 2: Start Redsn0w, press on “Extras> Select IPSW” and point it to iOS 5.0 beta 7 firmware ipsw file.
    Step 3: Now select “Install Cydia” and click “Next”. Optionally (if available), you can also select any other option you like.

    Step 4: Now make sure your device is both OFF and PLUGGED IN to the computer before you click “Next”. At this stage you will be presented with a screen where you will be guided on how to enter DFU mode. Quickly hold “Power” button and then while holding the “Power” button, you will now have to hold “Home” button too. Now after few seconds release “Power” button but keep holding “Home” button until installation begins.
    Step 5: Wait until you get iOS 5.0 beta GM jailbroken in few minutes. Congratulations.

New version of redsn0w, redsn0w 0.9.9 b1 comes with tons of new feature including automatic device detection in DFU mode and now you don’t need to select IPSW manually, it will detect and download required files from Apple servers for you.Redsn0w 0.9.9b1 works on same device and firmwares but remeber it won”t detect or download iOS 5 beta files because they’re meant for developers only.     -DFU automatically determine which device and FW you have.
    -Fetches pieces of public IPSWs from Apple (once).
    -"Just boot" is a tethered boot.

    -"Select IPSW" is for picking non-public IPSWs.

    1. FULL blobs stitched to a STOCK IPSW gives you a completely self-contained signed IPSW that iTunes will accept without any tricks.
    2. PARTIAL blobs stitched to any IPSW requires you to go into pwned DFU mode before running iTunes.
    3. Stitching either FULL or PARTIAL blobs to a CUSTOM IPSW also requires a pwned DFU start before iTunes restores.
    4. Stitching is NOT yet supported on iPhones (well, at least not tested).
    5. Will eventually support fetching the blobs directly from Cydia instead of a file on your computer.

    The instructions below will help you to perform untethered iOS 4.3.3 jailbreak with Redsn0w 0.9.6rc15 for iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, 3G and iPad 1.
    Note: Users who rely on unlock should stay away from iOS 4.3.3 and Redsn0w 0.9.6RC15 but they can use
    PwnageTool or Sn0wBreeze to preserve the baseband of their iDevice.
    The same guide works for Windows and Mac users.
    Untethered iOS 4.3.3 Jailbreak with Redsn0w 0.9.6RC15
    Download RedSn0w 0.9.6rc15 for Windows
    Download RedSn0w 0.9.6rc15 for Mac

    Download iOS 4.3.3 with ipsw Downloader
    Download iTunes 10.2.2
    Step-1 -Restore iOS 4.3.3 on your iDevice if it is not already running over it.
    Step-2 -Click Browse button, navigate to downloaded iOS 4.3.3 firmware file and select it. Redsn0w will do some process to recognize 4.3.3 IPSW file and then click Next.
    Step-3 -Check mark the box followed by Install Cydia option and click Next.
    Step-4 -Make it sure your attached iDevice is turned OFF and Plugged in to your Pc and then click Next.
    Step-5 -Follow on screen instructions to put your iDevice into DFU Mode.
    Step-6 -When your iDevice will enter successfully into DFU mode, RedSn0w will start untethered jailbreaking of iOS 4.3.3.
    On completion you will have untethered iOS 4.3.3 jailbroken iDevice in your hand.

How To Jailbreak iPad 1 Using Redsn0w For iOS 4.3.5 [Windows / Mac]

    Jailbreak iPad 1 Using Redsn0w
    You can follow these step-by-step instructions to jailbreak your iPad 1:
    Step 1: Download Redsn0w 0.9.8b4 (Mac and Windows) and save the application in a folder named "Redsn0w" on your desktop.
    Step 2: You need to download both the iOS 4.3.4 and iOS 4.3.5 firmware files (use Firefox or Chrome to download the firmware file instead of using Internet Explorer or Safari):
    iOS 4.3.4 firmware file for iPad 1 (iPad1,1_4.3.4_8K2_Restore.ipsw)
    iOS 4.3.5 firmware file for iPad 1 (iPad1,1_4.3.5_8L1_Restore.ipsw)
    Step 3: Double click the Redsn0w zip file and extract the application to the Redsn0w folder.
    Step 4: Connect your iPad to the computer, which should automatically launch iTunes.Skip steps 5 and 6, if your iPad has already been upgraded to iOS 4.3.5.
    Step 5: From the 'Devices' section on the left pane of iTunes, select your iPad device. Now, hold down the Shift button (Option button for Mac users) and click the 'Restore' button.
    Step 6: Navigate to the Redsn0w folder on the desktop and select the downloaded iOS 4.3.5 firmware file (iPad1,1_4.3.5_8L1_Restore.ipsw). Click on the 'Choose' button to let iTunes update your iPhone with the required firmware. You will be asked to setup your iPad 1 either from a previous backup or setup as a new iPad, select the backup you want for your device (ideally should be the most recent one).Wait iTunes to finish.

    Step 7: Navigate back to the Redsn0w folder and launch the Redsn0w application. Windows 7 users should run the exe in Windows XP compatibility mode. 
    Step 8: You will be asked to select the corresponding IPSW file. Click on the Browse button and select the iOS 4.3.4 firmware file (iPad1,1_4.3.4_8K2_Restore.ipsw). Note: iOS 4.3.4 firmware file and not the iOS 4.3.5 firmware file. 
    Step 9: Redsn0w will verify the firmware file and inform you if it has successfully identified it. Click on 'Next' to proceed.

    Step 10:     Redsn0w will now start preparing the jailbreak data.
    Step 11: You will now be prompted to select the jailbreak options you would like. Make sure Cydia is selected and select 'Next' to continue.
    Step 12: You will now be prompted to switch OFF your iPad and plug it to the computer. Follow the instructions and click on 'Next' to move to the next screen:
    Step 13: You will now need to put your iPad into the DFU mode. Redsn0w will take you through the necessary steps:
    (a) Hold the Power button on iPad down for 3 seconds:
    (b) Now simultaneously hold the iPad and keep the two buttons pressed for 10 seconds:
    (c) Now release the Power button while keeping the Home button pressed until Redsn0w identifies the device:
    Step 14: Your iPad should reboot now. Please remember to release the Home button.
    Step 15: Redsn0w will now begin uploading the new RAM disk and kernel.
    Step 16: You will now be notified once the jailbreaking process is complete. Click on the 'Finish' button to exit the application.
    Step 17: Your iPad will reboot once again (which could take approximately 5 minutes). After it has rebooted, your iPad should be successfully jailbroken. You should find Cydia jailbreak app on your iPad’s home screen.

However, you can still JailBreak your iDevice using iOS 5 Beta 6 but this version of Redsn0w 0.9.8b7b makes your life even easier. Few days back, Redsn0w 0.9.8beta 7 was released which focused towards updated iOS 5 Beta of iPad 1. Though, all the functionality would remain intact. Redsn0w o.9.8b7 allows verbose booting, custom boot logos etc for customization loving people. As always, the JailBreak would remain tethered for all other iDevices except old bootrom iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.3.5. You can either use previous or latest version of Redsn0w to JailBreak your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad on iOS 4.3.4/iOS 4.3.5. Don’t update if your are not a developer to any version of iOS Betas.
